Gavin Appleby

COO, Voltas
Neil Reynolds
Thom Bohlen

The beginning of 2013 saw Gavin Appleby take control of all of Voltas’ operations outside the Indian subcontinent in his position as executive vice president and chief operating officer for the company’s International Operations Business Group.

He says his plan to maintain this run of form involves diversifying the company’s scope both geographically and operationally.

“My remit includes building upon the strengths of Voltas and consolidation of its multiple operations across various geographies by establishing a consistent and sustainable business model across its business units.”

Appleby admits that Voltas has not been immune from the difficult market conditions which have been afflicting all MEP contractors in the region of late, but says that there has been some cause for cheer.

“We witnessed growth and diversification in our mid-range project reach across geographies. We have also seen some success in differentiating our offerings as a top-rung MEP services provider in the region. Our revenues from Oman and Saudi have seen growth during the last twelve months as well.”
