David Cronin rejoins fit-out firm ISG
Cronin rejoins as business development director after leaving the company in 2012
David Cronin has rejoined construction and fit-out contractor ISG as its business development director after leaving the company in 2012.
ISG, which counts Nestlé and the Kempinski Hotel among its Dubai clients, has picked Cronin to spearhead a push into new sectors and regions as part of efforts to diversify the business.
Formerly the commercial manager of ISG between 2008 and 2012, Cronin said he was rejoining the contractor at a “momentous time”.
“It is a business with a clear vision and values, and I’m delighted to be working within a team of motivated, committed, and experienced colleagues who are passionate about delivering exceptional spaces for our customers,” he said.
“I’m relishing the challenge of building on the fantastic relationships that ISG has already established in the region.”
ISG’s general manager in the Middle East, Scott McCulloch, said Cronin’s “passion for the industry” would help the business in its ongoing efforts to expand in the Middle East.
“We are an ambitious business with a loyal client and consultant base, built upon our exacting focus on customer experience and quality delivery,” he added.
“David’s expertise gives us the ability to further enhance our visibility within new sectors and geographies, highlighting our global fit-out experience and credentials.”
Among ISG’s portfolio of completed works in the Middle East is the refurbishment of Swiss food giant Nestlé’s regional headquarters in Dubai, which was completed in three phases.
Its scope included redesigning the existing floor Nestle was on, as well as helping the business expand its office space by half a floor.
The company was also responsible for fitting out Ford Motor Company’s Middle East headquarters in the UAE, which was designed by Perkins+Will.
Prior to his ISG return, Cronin was the commercial director at Optima Partitions, a Dubai-based supplier of commercial glass walls.
