Ex-Saudi Aramco staffer named CEO of Red Sea International Co

Tareq Mohammed Telmesani replaces outgoing CEO Eng Abdulaziz Gabel, who will exit the prefab firm on 30 April

The chief executive officer of Saudi Arabia's Tadawul-listed prefabricated housing firm Red Sea International Company, Eng Abdulaziz Gabel, will step down on 30 April, with Tareq Mohammed Telmesani replacing him in the role.

Telmesani is a former Saudi Aramco staffer who has led kingdom-based real estate companies Jeddah Development & Urban Regeneration and Knowledge Economic City during a 40-year career.

His appointed was approved by the Red Sea International Company’s board of directors in April, with the appointment shared in a missive on Tadawul.

Gabel was thanked by the modular construction company for his “effort and dedication”, and he will remain with the business as a non-executive member of its board of directors.

Red Sea International Company is a prefabricated modular construction company operating in the Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

Headquartered in Saudi Arabia, its work spans oil and gas, defence, infrastructure are other industries where it help companies quickly set up prefabricated buildings.

In the Middle East, the company has supplied modular buildings for Saudi Arabian Mining Company’s King Abdullah Project at Waad Al Shamaal City. The team provided a temporary camp for 400 executives that was fitted out with fresh water, electricity, water treatment, and television access.
