HH Shaikh Ahmed Bin Dalmook Al Maktoum is ADM Energy's president
Oil and gas investment company's CEO, Stefan Olivier, to step down as ADM Energy charts diversified growth strategy
Oil and gas investment company ADM Energy has appointed HH Shaikh Ahmed Bin Dalmook Al Maktoum as its president with the aim of leveraging his network and bringing new opportunities and contacts to the organisation.
Commenting during his appointment, Shaikh Ahmed said: "The company’s strategy is to grow and to create a larger, balanced portfolio of projects in line with its investing strategy.
"Our aim is to leverage our contacts to identify opportunities in undervalued production and near-production assets, primary in Africa. I’m confident we can add significant value for the benefit of all stakeholders.”
ADM Energy's chief executive officer, Stefan Olivier, said he would step down from his role at the firm.
Chairman of ADM Energy and designate interim CEO, Richard Carter, thanked Olivier for his contribution, adding: “We enter this new chapter focused on capturing what we believe to be a significant opportunity to grow the business and create value for shareholders.”
