BRG expands Middle East construction team with five hires
The recruitment drive is part of Berkeley Research Group’s plans to take on a greater number of projects across the region
Emeryville, California-headquartered Berkeley Research Group (BRG) has expanded its Middle East construction practice with the addition of five members to take on a broader number of developments for the region.
Based in Dubai, Stephen Dickie and Christian Merrett will become directors of the company, while Alex Burton, Kasia Halliday and Malcolm Landman have been named associate directors.
Dickie has more than 25 years of experience in quantity surveying, commercial management, contract administration, and dispute resolution under various forms of contract across the Middle East, Asia, and Europe.
Merrett has experience in construction engineering, construction management, and contract administration, as well as leading claims teams and providing arbitration support on disputes with values in excess of $500m.
Burton has knowledge of all aspects of change management, including the presentation and negotiation of contractor claims, while Halliday has been involved in a number of high-profile dispute-resolution commissions and arbitration proceedings.
Landman has 15 years of commercial management and construction advisory experience.
