Sekhar Reddy made GM of Dubai's MBM Gulf Electromechanical

Reddy was previously CEO of Elemec and played an 'instrumental' role in Meydan One Mall while at MS Construction

Sekhar Reddy has joined MBM Gulf.

Sekhar Reddy has been appointed general manager of MBM Gulf Electromechanical, a mechanical, engineering, and plumbing (MEP) contracting firm, which he joins after having previously worked on projects such as Meydan One Mall in Dubai, with prior experience at Trans Gulf, Voltas, and Elemec.

In a statement on LinkedIn, the company said Reddy was head of MEP at MS Construction for the last two years, when he was “instrumental” in the “evolution of Meydan One Mall”.

Prior to his role at MS Construction, Reddy worked as chief operating officer of Trans Gulf and chief executive officer of Elemec, with his career covering major projects in Dubai, the wider GCC, India, Sri Lanka, and Morocco.

MBM Gulf’s statement said: “[Reddy’s] appointment will enable us to develop further through best practices and […] delivering quality projects to our clients, [helping achieve] our goals and vision of being better than the rest in the industry.”
