Yasser Abuateek named CEO of Saudi Arabia's Umm Al Qura

Saudi Arabia’s Umm Al-Qura for Development and Construction — which is developing the 1.2km2 King Abdul Aziz Road project in Makkah — has appointed Yasser Abuateek as the company’s chief executive officer.

A report by Arab News stated that Abuateek has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate and financial sectors. 

According to his LinkedIn profile, Abuateek was previously the chief executive officer of Dar Al Tamleek, a home financing service provider in the kingdom, which he founded in 2008.

Umm Al-Qura for Development and Construction’s King Abdul Aziz Road project will feature 100,000 residential units; 28,000 hotel rooms; commercial and recreational areas; and a mosque upon completion.
