WSP Middle East appoints Nick Brant as head of defence
Brant previously worked as strategic defence director at Atkins Middle East and has more than 35 years of industry experience
Construction consultancy WSP has appointed Nick Brant, who has more than 35 years of experience, as its head of defence in the Middle East, with Brant joining the company from Atkins Middle East, where he worked as strategic defence director.
According to a company statement, Brant will lead WSP's regional work in areas such as facilities and civil works, master planning and programming, logistics, economic, institutional, and infrastructure development, and national security programmes.
Commenting on the appointment, managing director of property and buildings at WSP in the Middle East, Dean McGrail, said: “I am pleased to welcome Nick to WSP in the Middle East.
"Defence is a strategically important sector for WSP. Nick’s appointment solidifies our commitment to the defence sector, providing an increased regional presence to support our growing portfolio of defence projects in the region and globally.”
