Danish construction consultancy Ramboll has announced the appointment of Anthony McCarter as buildings director for the Middle East.

McCarter, who has worked within built environment in engineering consultancy for more than 35 years, joins Ramboll from Aecom where he was the practice line leader of building engineering across Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMIA) focusing on technical excellence, best practice, and use of technology.

Commenting on the appointment, managing director for Global Buildings and Middle East & Asia Pacific at Ramboll, Richard Beard, said: “We are delighted to welcome Anthony to Ramboll. We are committed to growing our buildings portfolio across the Middle East region and with Anthony’s considerable experience and expertise, he will help us to achieve this goal.”
