SNC-Lavalin appoints Michael Dunn as senior VP of resource sector
Dunn will lead the firm’s oil and gas, and mining and metallurgy activities, in the Middle East and Africa, and Asia Pacific regions
Canadian engineering contractor SNC-Lavalin has appointed Michael Dunn as senior vice-president, of resources - Middle East and Africa, and Asia Pacific, effective 17 October, 2019.
Dunn – who will be based in the UAE and will lead the firm’s oil and gas, and mining and metallurgy activities in these regions – has more than 20 years’ experience in operations and management, building businesses, and delivering projects in in the UK, Middle East and Australia.
Prior to joining SNC-Lavalin in May 2019 as managing director of Resources, Arabian Gulf Countries, Dunn worked for 19 years with Worley, where he held a number of senior positions, including leading country operations in Oman and Australia.
