AECOM appoints buildings director for Middle East, Africa

Jason Singleton will focus on delivering large scale building projects across the region and enhancing the built environment

Infrastructure firm AECOM has appointed Jason Singleton as buildings director for the Middle East and Africa.

Singleton comes with more than 20 years of professional experience in the UK and Middle East. He has previously worked at BuroHappold where he was responsible for developing new markets, managing client relationships and leading the firm’s technical consultancy services.

He also spent three years in Saudi Arabia as country director where he secured key roles on major projects aligned to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

Commenting on his appointment, Singleton said: “Building relationships with key clients and transforming communities across the region is vital when considering potential opportunities within the built environment.

He added: “With around 200 professionals within the Middle East buildings team and a range of multidisciplinary experts readily available to support client needs, I am excited to be joining AECOM.”
