The Abu Dhabi Development Holding Company (ADDHC) has issued a resolution to restructure the board of Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company, which owns and operates the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec).
The board will be chaired by Saif Saeed Ahmed Ghobash and will include Hamad Hareb Al Muhairi, deputy chair; Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, managing director; and Majed Sultan Al Mail and Kevin Murphy as members.
The board will serve for a renewable term of three years effective from the date of the resolution.
In July 2019, Construction Week reported about the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi’s resolution defining the companies and development entities under the Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company (ADDHC).
In accordance with Law No. 2 of 2018 that established ADDHC, the ownership of the Abu Dhabi Government’s shares in Abu Dhabi Ports Company, Abu Dhabi Airports Company, Modon Properties, Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Co, and Abu Dhabi General Services Co (Musanada) had been transferred to ADHHC.
The holding company also owns Abu Dhabi Government's former shares in Abu Dhabi Health Services Co, National Health Insurance Co, and Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Co, as well as Two Four 54 and its group of companies.
The Higher Corporation for Specialised Economic Zones (Zones Corp) and the Abu Dhabi Power Corporation have also been named as fully-owned subsidiaries of ADDHC.
