UK's ISG names Jake Chadwick as UAE construction director
Chadwick has been associated with ISG since 2017 as the project director and moved to the UAE in 2019
UK-based contractor ISG has appointed Jake Chadwick as the UAE construction director, who will manage the delivery teams working across the firm’s project portfolio in technology, corporate office, education, leisure, hospitality, and healthcare sectors.
In his new role, Chadwick will succeed ISG’s long-serving construction director, Stephen Martin, who will move to the UK as operations director for ISG’s business in Scotland.
Chadwick has been associated with ISG since 2017 as the project director. He moved to the UAE in 2019. The new construction director will also lead the firm’s construction team and deploy new and innovative construction technologies in the UAE to increase the firm’s operational efficiencies.
Commenting on Chadwick’s appointment, general manager of ISG Middle East, Scott McCulloch, said: “Jake has made a strong impact on the business since he transferred from the UK last year, proving instrumental in building innovative and high-performing project teams, nurturing a culture of collaboration and importantly, prioritizing and strengthening relationships with our customers.”
In November 2019, ISG completed engineering and fit-out works for the Abu Dhabi Youth Hub, which claims to be the largest youth centre in the UAE. The building is spread across an area covering 4,500m2.
October 2019, saw the contractor secure a fit-out contract for the new campus of University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD), with the six-floor structure in Dubai Knowledge Park due to open in September 2020 ahead of Expo 2020 Dubai.
