Aldar’s Khidmah appoints CEO, executive director to fuel growth
The facilities management and maintenance company aims for improved quality of service for clients and partners
Aldar Properties’ Khidmah, which is a facilities management and home maintenance firm, has announced two appointments in line with its business growth plans.
The firm has appointed Abdulla Al Wahedi as its chief executive officer.
Al Wahedi's role includes ensuring quality and business progress in his capacity as Khidmah’s CEO. He is expected to lead the firm’s services across multiple sectors and locations.
In his previous role, Al Wahedi worked on projects such as the Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall. He has more than two decades of experience in infrastructure and facilities management and has also held key roles in facility management operations.
In addition, Khidmah has appointed Maher Al Aghbar as its executive director.
In his role, Al Aghbar is expected to ensure clients’ value for investments by enforcing the firm’s quality and operational standards.
Al Aghbar has more than 30 years of experience in facilities management.
Prior to his current role, Al Aghbar held senior positions in facilities and services – including planning and operations – within the Middle East region, UK, and Canada.
Al Aghbar is also an active member of professional FM associations, including the Middle East Facilities Management Association (MEFMA).
Commenting on the appointments, the chairman of Khidmah, Jassem Saleh Busaibe, said: “Abdulla and Maher’s rich knowledge and expertise will greatly add to Khidmah’s portfolio expansion strategy and drive regional growth. The appointment will highlight cost efficiencies and create long-term asset value for our clients and partners.”
