Drake & Scull appoints Khalifa Al Remeithi as vice chairman
Al Remeithi replaces Ahmad Bin Brook who will continue to retain his position as the board member at the contractor
Dubai-listed contractor Drake & Scull International (DSI) has appointed Khalifa Al Remeithi as the vice chairman replacing Ahmad Bin Brook, who will continue to retain his position as the board member.
In a stock market filing, the contractor said that the board of directors approved the reformation of the board committees, including nomination and remuneration as well as audit.
According to the disclosure, the new nomination and remuneration committee comprises of the committee chairman, Rashid Al Faalasi; and members, Khalifa Al Remeithi, and Ahamd Kilani.
Meanwhile, the new audit committee comprises, Khalifa Al Remeithi as chairman, and members include, Ahmad Bin Brook, and Ahmad Kilani.
February this year saw the contractor announce the completion of engineering and construction activities for projects including Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah Indoor Sports Complex and Sabah Al-Salem University City in Kuwait. The contractor’s Kuwait-based subsidiary, Drake & Scull for Electrical Contracting (DSI Kuwait) has worked on the projects.
In January, DSI said that Khaldoun Tabari, its former chief executive officer was arrested at Jordan’s Queen Alia International Airport in Amman.
