Pinsent Masons appoints Matthew Escritt as head of banking and finance

Multinational law firm, Pinsent Masons, has appointed banking and finance partner Matthew Escritt to lead the firm's financial services in the Middle East.
Based in Dubai, Escritt will lead the banking and finance practice in the Middle East, within the finance and projects group in the company, and will focus primarily on clients in the financial services sector.
Prior to his current role, Escritt worked at international law firm Norton Rose Fulbright for the past 19 years.
A banking and finance specialist, Escritt is experienced in advising on all areas of structured cross border finance, including syndicated lending acquisition, development finance, asset finance, vendor finance, and structured trade and commodity finance.
In addition, he is familiar with both conventional and Islamic finance funding structures.
