Rotana, a well-established name in the hospitality industry, revealed on Thursday that Guy Hutchinson, currently serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer, will be parting ways with the organisation in early 2024 to embark on a fresh venture with Hilton.
This significant announcement was conveyed by Selim El Zyr, co-founder and Vice-Chairman of the company.
Having devoted nearly a decade to Rotana, Hutchinson played a pivotal role in driving the group’s expansion throughout the region. “We extend our best wishes to Guy as he embarks on his new journey and express our gratitude for the invaluable contributions he has made during his tenure at Rotana,” El Zyr remarked.
Despite the departure, the hospitality brand remains steadfast in its commitment to its operational and strategic pursuits. The groundwork has been laid solidly, with plans intact and on course.
“To ensure a seamless transition, and while we identify a successor, I will enhance my level of engagement with the operations of the company to ensure that the service delivered to our owners and partners remain unaffected,” El Zyr added.
In 2024, the hotel management company aims to expand its initiatives and eagerly anticipates novel prospects for development.
The company’s vision, encapsulated in the notion of ‘Treasured Times’, continues to be at the forefront of its mission.
