AD Power's ADDC, AADC, Transco, AMPC to train 100 Emiratis
UAE graduates to be trained under two-phased 18-month programme that kicks off in November 2019
Abu Dhabi Power Corporation's (AD Power) subsidiaries Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC), Al Ain Distribution Company (AADC), Abu Dhabi Transmission and Despatch Company (Transco), and Mirfa Power Company (AMPC), have launched an 18-month graduate training and development programme for 100 Emirati university graduates, with the training sessions due to begin in November.
The programme, divided into two phases, will offer training in leadership competency building, management skills, and technical development through interactive techniques and experiences.
Phase 1 of the programme, which is a six-month introduction to the utilities sector, will comprise practical training modules, including visits to AD Power’s subsidiaries, as well as international training opportunities
Graduates will also be engaged in relevant community activities with a focus on environmental awareness.
Following the successful completion of Phase 1, graduates will progress to a full-time job at one of AD Power's subsidiaries, with 12 months of real-world training.

Interested Emirati candidates have until 15 October to apply for the programme.
