Saudi Arabia’s Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) and the Saudi Abyat Building Materials Academy have inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to train the kingdom’s citizens in the construction and building sector.

The programme aims to address the gap in the labour market through specialised training on the kingdom’s e-training platform ‘Doroob’.

The agreement was signed by the deputy director general of Hadaf for the Training Support Sector, Dr Jumaa Hamed, and the director general of the Abyat Academy, Essam Hamed Alansary, according to the state-run Saudi Press Agency.

The initiative intends to train and prepare national cadres for the growth in the construction and building sector, and provide them with the necessary knowledge and skills.
