Abu Dhabi Airports, EAG to prep employees for Midfield Terminal
The programme includes initiatives aimed to ‘familiarise, induct and train (FIT)’ employees to operate the facility
Commenting on the initiative, chief executive officer of Abu Dhabi Airports, Bryan Thompson, said: “Our partnership with Etihad Aviation Group will allow us to familiarise our employees with the infrastructure and capability of the Midfield Terminal FIT program and the associated campaign. These are instrumental aspects of our operational readiness and airport transfer activities.”
The programme is supported by My Terminal Complex, a campaign which will ensure employees of all airport organizations are ‘familiarised, inducted and trained (FIT)’ to operate the recently-launched facility.
Speaking about the partnership with Abu Dhabi Airports, chief executive officer of EAG, Tony Douglas, said: “These [FIT and My Terminal Complex] initiaves are crucial for preparing our employees for work in the terminal. We will continue to work closely with Abu Dhabi Airports as the terminal enters its final stages of testing and fit-out.”
The digital launch of the campaign featured a user-friendly, informational website, which reflects the diversity of cultures among airport employees and is available in English, Arabic, Hindi, and Urdu.
