COVID-19: HH Sheikh Hamdan lauds DP World, DHA, RTA's efforts
Dubai's Crown Prince met government entities as well as hospitals' medical and administrative teams
Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate, HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, met various government entities as well as medical and administrative teams in public and private hospitals, in light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
HH Sheikh Hamdan said that Dubai places the highest priority on ensuring safety of its residents, and measures taken in this regard are supported by Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
“I would like to thank all federal and local entities for [your] efforts to ensure [our] safety. You are our first line of defence. Everyone should abide by the directives issued by relevant authorities with the aim of protecting the health of [our] community,” HH Sheikh Hamdan said, as stated on his website.
The meeting was held with teams of various entities involved in implementing preventive measures against COVID-19, in the presence of chairman of the supreme committee of crisis and disaster management in Dubai, HH Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
HH Sheikh Hamdan praised the expertise of the teams, noting that they are working rapidly to achieve a "meticulous plan" to safeguard the health of the community.
He also praised the Dubai community’s awareness and positive response to the preventive measures against the virus.
