Marching forward in terms of construction works on its massive $5bn The Heart of Europe project is property developer Kleindienst Group led by its chairman Josef Kleindienst at no. 78 on the ranking.

The developer has confirmed that it is on track to deliver Phase 1 of the project, which remains completely free from the novel coronavirus, and is “among the safest tourism destinations in the world.” Kleindienst Group remains committed to deliver the first phase of the project by October 2020.

The master-planned leisure tourism island destination features Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, and the Main Europe island; floating ‘seahorses’, which are three-level floating homes offering underwater views, as well as the Italian-themed five-star facility, Portofino Hotel.

The Heart of Europe project will also feature the world’s first floating smart police station, as part of a joint partnership with Dubai Police.

Kleindienst Group has maintained that sustainability remains at the core of the project. The developer launched the Coral Institute initiative to protect and expand the marine life and environment. Furthermore, The Heart of Europe has a zero-discharge policy and promotes sustainable living on the island.
