LASCO JV SSG, a leading MEP sub-contractor, completed the WTB Sky Light project, the world’s largest residential air-conditioned glasshouse, spanning 15,000m2. This project features the world’s largest single-zone cooling space, utilising 3,300 tons of cooling for one zone, 12 chillers, the largest AHUs and duct sizes in the Middle East, and a 15-MW substation with eight transformers.
Meanwhile, LASCO Engineering Services also achieved significant milestones with the completion of several major projects. These include the Green Riyadh MEP and infrastructure design, one of the most ambitious urban forestation projects in the world. Additionally, the company completed the Saadiyat Lagoons District infrastructure design package and the King Salman Park MEP and infrastructure design packages. King Salman Park, covering more than 16 km2, is set to become the largest urban park in the world.
