Emirates Transport (ET) has signed 12 new and renewed school transport contracts with several schools in Dubai and Sharjah, which will see it providing 630 buses to transport approximately 17,000 students.

ET’s area sales manager for Dubai and Sharjah, Tariq AlSedawi, said 36 private schools are now served by the company’s school transport division, adding that the growth in contracts “is mirrored by an increase in the size of fleet of school buses”.

The company had 400 buses in 2014, when ET Private Schools Transport Centre was established, with its fleet increasing to more than 1,000 by the end of 2018.

ET’s school clients include Bukhatir Education Advancement and Management – which operates the International School of Creative Science Muwaileh, American School of Creative Science, and American School of Creative Science – as well as Al Ansar International Private School and Choueifat International School in Sharjah.

In Dubai, ET’s clients include Greenwood International School, Al Mawakeb Private School, Al Sadiq Islamic English School, and School of Modern Skills, the company said in a statement.
