Dubai Municipality (DM) participated in the UAE Ministry of Education’s Hello School initiative, aimed at educating students about the significance of environmental protection, sustainability, and natural resources.

DM conducted environmental awareness field visits to various schools in Dubai, targeting 1,000 students as part of its programmes.

According to a report by UAE state news agency, Wam, the municipality’s environmental awareness team presented Ghaith—a cartoon character designed with colours symbolising the environment’s basic elements— to organise educational and recreational activities for students of the schools participating in the awareness programme.

The event also included a technical workshop to identify the different types of marine life.
