Aldar awards, renews 10 deals as Khidmah wins 14 FM contracts
'Highly competitive bid process' was followed by the FM firm winning work in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, and Rak
Facilities management (FM) and maintenance company Khidmah, part of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange-listed (ADX)Aldar Properties, has won 14 contracts in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, and Ras Al Khaimah (Rak) following “a highly competitive bid process” for activities such as asset maintenance and FM delivery for the UAE’s Ministry of Education, and 10 agreements with Khidmah owner, Aldar.
Of the 14 contracts, five related to properties on the 27km2 Saadiyat Island. These contracts cover hard and soft FM services for Mamsha Al Saadiyat, Jawaher, Cranleigh Abu Dhabi School Accommodation, Saadiyat Beach Retail, and Marsa Al Bateen.
Additionally, Aldar renewed its contract with Khidmah for the developer’s circular headquarters building and commercial properties such as Al Mamoura, Baniyas Towers, Daman House, and Motor World.
Abu Dhabi-based real estate development firm International Capital Trading picked Khidmah for operations, maintenance, and repair works for civil and electromechanical systems at its 360-unit Nation Towers.
The company has been awarded the FM services contract for Nada Al Sheba Villas in Dubai, and a deal each from Emirates National Schools for its campuses in Sharjah and Rak.
Khidmah said it had secured 29 contracts across the UAE since the beginning of 2019.
Commenting on the contracts, executive director of Khidmah, Sara Momtaz, said: “Our growth ambitions and strategy are clearly materialising as we are winning contracts across the UAE.”
