Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) for Abu Dhabi is set to improve transport services across the emirate by rolling out additional buses and launching the first phase of the Integrated Fare System project from 11 October 2019.

As part of the plan, ITC will add regional bus services across Abu Dhabi, with the authority stating that the improvements would support the organisation’s plan to enhance the public transport service network just before the implementation of Abu Dhabi toll gate system on 15 October 2019.

Commenting on the improvements, executive director of ITC’s public transport sector, Mohammed Hamad Al Muhairi, said the changes came following a study of available services in comparison to public demand.

Al Muhairi added that IFS would benefit passengers that need to use more than one regional bus services.
