Dubai's RTA project offers 10 online services for vendors, investors
Services include invoices, contract management, tenders, registration and qualification of suppliers, among others
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched a unified screen service for customers and investor relations management, offering 10 online services via the RTA website on a trial basis.
Services offered via the screen include invoices, contract management, tenders, registration and qualification of suppliers, suggestions and complaints, contracting templates, purchase orders, auction plans, dashboard, and news.
Vendors and investors can avail of the services by logging into the Vendor Investor Management System (VIMS), which reduces the need for businesses to visit RTA offices.
Commenting on the initiative, the director for Procurement in RTA’s Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector, Saeed Al Marri, said: “Providing the unified screen for vendors and investors via RTA’s official website aims to facilitate transaction processing for these categories.”
“Among the key characteristics of the scheme is the improved communication channels with suppliers and investors, who can upload their invoices without visiting RTA. They will be provided access to data proportionate to the scope of their contracts with RTA,” he added.
The service is in line with several RTA strategic goals, including Smart Dubai, People Happiness, and Advance RTA.
Al Marri concluded: “We will endeavour to continue the delivery of best-in-class services to the business community and keep pace with the directives of our leaders, calling for nurturing an attractive working environment for our partners.”
