Emicool to reduce district cooling consumption fees for three months
The move aims to lower the bill for customers across all Emicool’s residential, commercial, and industrial projects
Dubai’s leading district cooling service provider Emirates District Cooling (Emicool), which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dubai Investments, has decided to reduce its fees on the consumption of its district cooling services in order to lower the bill for customers for the coming three months, across all its residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
The move is in line with the directives of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy to provide its customers to spur the emirate’s business environment.
Commenting on the announcement, the chief executive officer of Emicool, Dr Adib Moubadder, said: “The reduction that we are offering our customers for the next three months is in line with the directives that were issued by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai regarding the economic stimulus package that was announced by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai.”
Moubadder added: “Emicool will continue to coordinate with our partners in the private and public sectors to maintain a safe economic climate and a thriving business sector in Dubai.”
