Abu Dhabi-based Khidmah, which is ALDAR Properties' fully-owned subsidiary, will offer discounted disinfection and sanitisation services for homes and businesses across Abu Dhabi.

The firm's efforts are part of ALDAR Properties' recently-launched support package for its stakeholders.

As part of its efforts, Khidmah is also enforcing internal preventative measures to safeguard its employees and customers from infection.

It is also carrying out disinfection and sanitisation of workers’ accommodation and buses, and conducting daily employee health evaluations.

The company has utilised its Khidmah Training Centre to train its technical team on the procedures and specific products to be used in order to strictly follow all hygiene guidelines as prescribed by the UAE authorities and World Health Organization.

Speaking about the initiative, Khidmah's chief executive officer, Abdulla Al Wahedi, said: “Residents can be rest assured that they will not need to leave their premises during the sanitisation and disinfection process.

He added: "Our technical team will utilise odourless, organic cleaning products, as certified by the Environmental Protection Agency. We have also applied a strict cashless payment policy in line with heightened hygiene guidance.”
