UAE-based property maintenance and cleaning firm, mplus, has rolled out a disinfection service for its residential and commercial customers in a move to combat the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Speaking about the disinfection programme, general manager of mplus, James Smith, said: “We have provided our teams with training, specific to prevent the spread of infection, and have sourced the latest equipment for our fight against COVID-19.”

The BICSc-accredited service provider has been using disinfectants approved by Dubai Municipality (DM) and Dubai Health Authority (DHA).

Smith added that the company has been “working within the recommended guidelines of the World Health Organisation and local authorities” for the programme.

The company has also adopted precautionary measures to safeguard the health and safety of its technicians.

“All mplus technicians have been provided with appropriate personal protective equipment, including masks, gloves and disposable overalls, which will be worn at all times,” Smith added.
