Dubai-based real estate development and management firm, Wasl Properties, has been coordinating with local authorities in the emirate to distribute food boxes, sterilisers, cleaning materials, and gloves to its tenants in Naif and Al Ras, where movement has been restricted for two weeks starting 31 March, amid coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The company manages around 20 buildings that house over 200 families across these areas.

The initiative is part of Wasl’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme that supports various segments of the society and comes in accordance with the initiatives launched by the government and private companies.

Last week, Wasl announced a relief package for tenants supporting the company’s commitment to its social presence, in line with government efforts, and constant concern for the well-being of its customers.

Moreover, Wasl also announced its support of the Dubai Educational Zone and the Hamdan Bin Rashid Boys School in Dubai by providing them with laptops and iPads to help students in the remote-learning process.
