ASGC Egypt offers financial aid to un-salaried workers

Construction company ASGC Egypt has announced that it is supporting un-salaried daily workers with a donation of $3,16,615 (EGP5m) towards the region's COVID-19 labour support fund, 'Tahya Misr Fund', the Egyptian Cabinet revealed in a statement. 

Bishoy Azmy, chief executive officer and executive director of ASGC informed the Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, Nabila Makram, of the company's decision to donate the amount in response to the Egyptian government's efforts to support workers who have been impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. 

The donation was recorded as the first Egypt participation in the account from abroad towards the cause.
