UAE real estate developer Arada is providing free meals for healthcare workers across Sharjah hospitals, as part of its efforts to support the Sharjah community as it copes with the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.

To accelerate its efforts, the developer joined forces with Zad, which is the food destination at its Aljada community.

In total, so far, 150 meals have been prepared, packaged and delivered to Al Qassimi Hospital, with the developer aiming to cater meals to Kuwait Hospital in Al Qadisiya as well.

Arada will continue to provide free meals for staff at both hospitals on a weekly basis until further notice. It has also stated that it will announce further initiatives to support the local community in the coming days.

Earlier, in response to the global pandemic, the real estate developer played its part by sanitising the external areas of its recently-opened edutainment complex Madar, in collaboration with Sharjah MunicipalityConstruction Week reported
