Dubai Investments' firms continue production of construction materials

Dubai Financial Market-listed diversified investment company Dubai Investments has committed to continuing the ongoing production of raw materials across its industrial manufacturing subsidiaries in steel, aluminium, glass and other building materials.

Ongoing large-scale investments in infrastructure and healthcare sectors have ensured consistent local demand for steel structures and pre-engineered building (PEB) in the industrial, commercial, and residential sectors.

Dubai Investments is meeting these demands by the design, fabrication, and construction of quality steel structures. The firm’s steel factories are running production lines to not only meet local requirements, but also maintain the momentum within the key industrial segment active.

A portfolio of Dubai Investments subsidiaries is ensuring timely availability of materials; improving competitiveness; meeting project timelines; and in turn, ensuring the timely delivery of projects.

These initiatives have benefited the UAE economy and boosted the local construction industry, in line with the Dubai government’s vision of being the world’s most dynamic manufacturing hub.

Commenting on the initiatives, the CEO of Industrial Platforms at Dubai Investments, Abdulaziz Bin Yagub Al Serkal, said: “Supporting local production and procurement is part of the initiatives implemented by the government towards stimulating competitiveness and achieving sustainable development during these times.

“Over the years the government has supported the manufacturing sector with various stimulus packages and it is now the time for the sector to unleash its potential enhancing local productivity and growth, promoting the ‘Made in UAE’ products.”

He added: “Dubai Investments has been contributing to the local economy and will continue to boost manufacturing of industrial products; provide premium quality solutions, especially complementing the construction market requirements, in addition to the others.”
