COVID-19: Dubai businessman to offer 100 housing options for labourers
The accommodation options spread across Al Quoz, Jebel Ali, and Muhaisnah areas of Dubai
Chief executive officer of Rao Holdings in Dubai, which specialises in leasing, real estate, property management, and construction, Ali Rao has offered accommodation options - free-of-charge - for labourers to mitigate the impact faced by them during the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak in the region.
Inspired by the ongoing efforts of the UAE government to safeguard and take care of its people, Rao has a total of 100 accommodation options that he will offer as shelter to the less fortunate.
The accommodation options spread across Al Quoz, Jebel Ali, and Muhaisnah areas of Dubai.
Rao recently sheltered more than 20 labourers in Dubai's Al Quoz area and is keen to reach out to more people with housing requirements.
Speaking about serving the labourers of the emirate, Rao, said: "These are some very difficult times for all of us. But, we can make it a bit bearable by doing the most that we can for those who need help. It was my basic instinct to offer shelter."
Previously, Rao has invested his efforts towards establishing Rao Foundation aimed at conducting social welfare projects and philanthropic initiatives.
