UAE facilities management company Farnek has received a certificate of appreciation from Dubai Police for its cooperation during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

Speaking about the recognition, head of security operations of Farnek, Tasawar Rashid, said that the company's security team at Oasis Mall was recognised for their cooperation performance in keeping Dubai Police updated through security videos and images and for reporting any violations or non-adherence prescribed COVID-19 precautionary emasures.

Farnek's earlier efforts to mitigate the impact of the current pandemic include the installation of a sanitisation gateway which will disinfect all staff, upon leaving and returning to their accommodation centres.

The gateway has been rolled out across all of Farnek’s staff accommodation centres in the UAE. Farnek previously also worked in conjunction with Expo 2020 Dubai to carry out sanitisation activities on-site, as due diligence.
