Integrated FM company Muheel established in Saudi Arabia
Abdul Latif Jameel Land and Al Muhaidib Group have formed the 1,600-strong firm in Jeddah that Jason Ruehland will lead
Abdul Latif Jameel Land and Al Muhaidib Group have launched a Jeddah-headquartered integrated facilities management (FM) company in Saudi Arabia.
The joint venture, Muheel, will have a headcount of 1,600, and deliver soft and hard FM services, Saudi Gazette reported. Jason Ruehland, who has previously worked with Dubai's Emrill and the now-liquidated Carillion, is Muheel's chief executive officer.
Commenting on Muheel's formation, Essam A K Al Muhaidib, chief executive officer of Al Muhaidib, said: “I am confident that [the company] will quickly become synonymous with high quality service delivery in Saudi Arabia.”
Eng Mohammed Abdul Latif Jameel, chairman and chief executive officer of Abdul Latif Jameel Land, said that Muheel would fill a market gap for an integrated FM services provider.
“The new venture is addressing this requirement, bringing our shared values and commitment to excellence to the facilities management sector in Saudi Arabia and beyond,” he added, according to the Saudi Gazette report.
