Dubai real estate developer Emaar has picked Oracle Cloud applications to drive its digital transformation process, with group chief executive officer, Amit Jain, stating that the "seamless transformation" would support the Dubai Financial Market-listed company's growth in the months to come.

The Oracle Cloud ecosystem that Emaar will use includes Oracle nterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Cloud, Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud, and Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud.

Commenting on Emaar's expectations of the technology drive, Jain explained: “Emaar is focused on growing its business success in two ways – first, by delivering unique products that appeal to a new generation of regional and international customers, and second, by implementing a robust execution and delivery strategy.

“A seamless transformation of business process needs innovative digital solutions," Jain continued.

"Our investment in Oracle Cloud applications will help us achieve financial integration and increase our speed to market by accessing real-time business performance. In addition, it will support our workforce planning strategy to attract and retain the best talent.”

Emaar's chief information officer, Binoo Joseph, said that Emaar's multinational business focus required it to create "a future-ready digital infrastructure" that would help it boost efficiencies and "constantly innovate".

He added: “The transition of our core business processes to Oracle Cloud will help us achieve these objectives whilst capitalising on the latest artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning innovations within Oracle Cloud applications”.

Commenting on the company's work with Emaar, Oracle's vice president for business applications in the Gulf, Rahul Misra, said: “Emaar is an iconic developer of global repute, a true market leader and a key contributor to Dubai’s economic success.

“With Oracle’s AI-embedded Cloud applications, Emaar will be able to infuse business and IT operations with adaptive intelligence and standardised business processes, at lower costs and complexity.”
