Ejadah's FM business Idama wins IFM contract for Dubai's DIFC
Idama will deliver maintenance, housekeeping, MEP, cleaning, and pest control services as part of its contract
Ejadah has reportedly signed a five-year contract with Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) to provide integrated facilities management (FM) services through its Idama business.
A report by Construction Week’s sister title facilities management Middle East revealed that Idama would deliver maintenance, cleaning and housekeeping, pest control, façade cleaning, landscaping, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services.
Idama's FM contract with DIFC also covers quality, health, safety, and environment, as well as fit-out management services.
The contract builds on an 11 year relationship between Idama and DIFC.
Ejadah's senior executive director, Tarek Nizameddin, said the company was already involved with DIFC through Arkan, its security arm, and Shabaka, its unit services business.
The FM company has signed contracts worth $101.5m (AED373m) with for Burj Al Arab and Coca-Cola Arena in 2019, according to fmME's report.
