Integrated facilities management firm Farnek has signed two separate contracts with Oracle and Place Management. As per each agreement, Farnek has been tasked with providing cleaning, maintenance, and support services.
Farnek’s three-year contract with Oracle will see the FM provider manage the global database software developer’s Middle East head office. Commencing operations in June, Farnek’s agreement will also see the delivery of housekeeping services to the facility, which is located in Dubai Internet City. The agreement covers the provision of office attendants and customer-facing office staff.
Commenting on the Oracle contract, Markus Oberlin, CEO of Farnek, said: “What is special about this contract is that we will also be providing front-of-house staff for the Oracle ‘O Bar’, where VIP clients and guests are hosted; and we will put in place a team of experienced staff members with a hospitality background.”
Also commencing in June, Farnek’s one-year contract with Place Management will see the implementation of a fully integrated FM package at Global Lakeview Tower. Located in the Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT) area of Dubai, the service will include MEP, preventative maintenance strategies, general cleaning, façade maintenance, and lifeguard services.
