The project calls for construction of Bluewaters Island in Dubai. The development will be located off the Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) coastline. The development also includes construction of a Dh1 billion Dubai Eye, it will feature as a major component of the Bluewaters Island development.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has approved the Bluewaters project in February 2013. Construction is expected to start in second quarter of 2013.
