The project calls for construction of Landmark Tower. The mixed-use tower is located in Abu Dhabi Corniche. The tower will be 70 floors and 5 basement levels. The height of the tower is 330 metres. The tower will also include offices, shops, restaurants, a sky garden, penthouses. The total built up area is 205,000 square metres.
A joint venture of CCC (Consolidated Contractors Co.) and Al Habtoor Engineering Enterprises Co. L.L.C. had been awarded the main construction contract in February 2007. Construction started in March 2007 and expected to be completed by July 2010. Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects is the architect and EC Harris International Limited is the project manager.
The tower is the tallest building in Abu Dhabi Island.
