Oman-based cement manufacturer Raysut Cement Company is set to build a cement grinding unit in the sultanate’s Duqm port town at an estimated cost of $30m (OMR 11.5m).

According to a statement on Muscat Securities Market, the cement grinding unit will have a production capacity of one million tonnes per annum.

Works on the plant will start on 19 September, 2019, with Raysut Cement’s board of directors approving the facility's construction.
