Saudi Arabian oil and gas company Saudi Aramco has picked Dar Al-Handasah (Shair and Partners) – which employs 3,000 people across its Saudi Arabian offices in Riyadh, Jeddah, Khobar, Khafji, Makkah, and Madinah – to deliver a general engineering and project management services infrastructure (Gesi) contract spanning five years, which covers Aramco’s existing and upcoming infrastructure projects.

In a statement, Dar Al-Handasah said it would provide consultancy services including engineering, design, and project management for Aramco.

Commenting on the contract, chairman and chief executive officer of Dar, Talal Shair, said: Dar has been, and continues to be, fully committed to supporting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ability to fulfil its Vision 2030.

“We have a proven track record of delivering multi-disciplinary expertise on some of the most complex and challenging projects in the kingdom.
