Accor Hotels, Naif Alrajhi to open Fairmont Ramla Riyadh in 2020
Naif Alrajhi Investment Company picked as partner for Accor's first standalone serviced residences in Saudi Arabia

Hotel chain Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has partnered with Saudi Arabian conglomerate Naif Alrajhi Investment Company to develop the Tokyo-based Nikken Sekkei-designed Fairmont Ramla Serviced Residences Riyadh, the construction completion and launch of which is expected by 2020.
The project will include 249 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments and four-bedroom penthouses, and the façade of the tower is layered with panelling and a structured central pattern.
Commenting on the project, Accor’s chief executive officer for the Middle East and Africa, Mark Willis, said: “As Saudi Arabia further strengthens its economy, there is greater demand for luxury long-stay accommodation with amenities and services catering for both leisure and business travellers.
“The launch of Fairmont’s standalone serviced residence concept is aimed to help bridge this gap in the market.”
