Bahay Holding to start three home construction projects in Q2 2020

Work on the Egyptian company's New El Alamein City, New Cairo, and El Shorouk City will reportedly be completed in 2023

Egypt-based developer Bahay Holding has reportedly revealed plans for three residential developments across the North African country, with construction set to begin from Q2 2020 and be completed by 2023.

According to Thomson Reuters, Bahay Holding's chief executive officer, Amr El-Bahay, said the projects would be located in New El Alamein City, New Cairo, and El Shorouk City.

The New El Alamein City development will span 4ha and will comprise 15 buildings housing six units each, a commercial mall, and leisure facilities.

The company also revealed details about the 2,000m2 New Cairo residential compound, which will feature 33 residential units, as well as sports and leisure facilities.

Bahay Holding is in negotiations with the New Urban Communities Authority to acquire 4ha of land in El Shorouk City to develop a social housing project.
