Systemair to deliver HVAC for Expo 2020 Dubai's Sweden Pavilion
Company says Sweden Pavilion's HVAC system to focus on energy efficiency and indoor air quality
Systemair Group, an official sponsor of Expo 2020 Dubai's Sweden Pavilion, has revealed details of the air-conditioning and ventilation systems it has been picked to provide for the structure, on which ground was recently broken by Swedish Minister of Foreign Trade, Anna Hallberg, who planted trees instead of putting a shovel into the ground for the sustainability-focused structure.
The Swedish pavilion's heating, ventilating, and AC (HVAC) platform will feature "engineering, digital control solutions, and sensor technologies", Systemair said in a statement.
Energy efficiency and indoor air quality will be areas of focus for Systemair's work on Expo 2020 Dubai's Sweden Pavilion.
Systemair said a publicly available augmented reality application would be installed to allow visitors to "interactively explore the functioning, benefits, and importance of indoor climate technologies".
Commenting on the contract for the Swedish pavilion, Systemair's vice president, Kurt Maurer, said: “Being a highly complex, unique structure, the Swedish Expo 2020 Dubai pavilion provides us with the opportunity to showcase our capabilities in providing high-end HVAC solutions from concept to completion.
"More significantly, it allows us to highlight the role ventilation and air conditioning plays in saving energy and protecting the planet, while providing a healthy indoor environment for ourselves and future generations.”
