Kier wins contract for Dubai Harbour infrastructure

UK-listed firm will deliver the entire roads and infrastructure network for the 185-hectare megaproject

London Stock Exchange-listed contractor Kier Group has been awarded a contract to deliver road development and infrastructure work on Dubai Harbour, with its contract including earthworks, roads, paving, constructing logistics access roads, pedestrian accesses, barriers, and signages.

Also included in the UK contractor's deal are infrastructure services such as deep pumping stations, and site-wide logistics comprising the establishment of security access control systems for vehicles, staff entry, and operatives with round-the-clock surveillance.

The 185ha Dubai Harbour project is backed by master developer Meraas Holding.
