Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) has met several international organisations in Washington DC, US, to discuss projects it is implementing in Yemen.

SDRPY met with US Agency for International Development to explore potential areas for collaboration on its Yemeni projects.

The organisations discussed enhancing joint cooperation and the role and importance of development and reconstruction in Yemen.

SDRPY is a Saudi programme designed to implement a range of development projects across Yemen in partnership with the government to improve access to services in several sectors.

With over 70 projects under way, SDRPY said it was building and restoring infrastructure, increasing job opportunities, and improving standards of living.
